Addiction Is a Medical Condition. Talk About It Like One.

WSYH Addiction Treatment on Haven Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga was built to change the conversation. Twenty years, 9,800+ patients, and one conviction: the silence around substance use costs more lives than the substances do.

Welcome to WSYH Addiction Treatment

WSYH Addiction Treatment was founded in 2005 by a family who had lost an adult child to an overdose the year prior — and who had spent two years before that unable to name what was happening because nobody in their lives talked about addiction in clinical terms. The treatment center they built was intended to be the opposite of the silence that cost them their son.

Twenty years, 9,800+ patients, and 69 staff later, we remain committed to treating addiction the way medicine treats every other condition: named clearly, measured rigorously, and addressed with evidence-based intervention.

Why Choose WSYH Addiction Treatment

Plain Language, Clinical Rigor

We name substance use disorder the way medicine names any other chronic condition. No euphemisms, no "struggle with," no softening that makes the illness harder to treat.

Intensive Clinical Schedule

Our daily program is built around intensive clinical contact — multiple therapy touchpoints each day, not warehousing time. Patients complete measurable clinical work, not just calendar days.

Family Systems Theory in Practice

Addiction is a family condition. Every patient's treatment plan includes structured family-systems work; we don't treat the patient in isolation from the system they return to.

Neuroscience-Grounded Protocols

Our clinicians are trained in current addiction neurocircuitry research. Interventions match what the brain is actually doing in each phase of recovery — not what was standard a decade ago.

Our Treatment Programs

Medical Detox

3–7 days of 24-hour medical supervision. Withdrawal is a medical event and we treat it like one — with protocols, data, and documented outcomes, not willpower framing.

Stories of Recovery

"I got into treatment at 22. I thought my life was over — that I'd always be 'in recovery' in whispered voices around family. WSYH flipped that. Talking about addiction as a condition, not a character flaw, made the whole thing something I could carry in daylight. Three years sober, finishing my bachelor's."

— Jaden P., young-adult-turnaround arc

"I went because my daughter said I had to, and I planned to be there exactly the minimum time. By week two I stopped counting days because I stopped wanting to leave. The staff never made me feel ashamed. That was the part I wasn't ready for."

— Alistair F., reluctant-starter arc

"My wife came home from WSYH a different woman — still herself, but unmuted. The family sessions changed both of us. I thought I was coming in to support her; I learned I had work to do too."

— Marcus H., spouse-gratitude arc
